A Real Adult....kinda

I feel like such a real adult! Last night the boyfriend escorted me to a work outting, where I not only got to show him off to my department, but we ate delicious food too. If it hadn't of been for this dinner, I would have been at my friend's Jersey Shore Premiere Party, which was a dress-up in Jersey shore theme. Classy, right? I also got invited to not 1 but 2 Baby Shower's this week!

The FreshMaker

I have developed somewhat of a mentos addiction. Don't know what it is about that soft chewy minty candy, but I can't seem to resist it.
On a side note, did you know that in India, the mentos slogan translates to 'Eat mentos and ignite the fire in your mind'.

Salt

Saturday night my old work friends saw Salt because they filmed it right outside my old work building It was cool seeing the scene in the movie (which lasted for a whole minute). Next time I want to be an extra, what a cool job. Did you know you have to sign up in advance to be an extra because they have to do background checks on you. I wonder if people out there are professional extras?

Weekend / FreeCycle

Somehow what started off as a relaxing solo weekend has turned into what should be a packed weekend. How does this always happen! Well, that just means that the time will go by faster until the boyfriend comes back.

As a side note - have you ever heard of freecycle? It's like craigslist but it's all free and none of those annoying "curb alerts". You join your local area's group, but make sure you don't like it to your email that you use all the time (everytime someone posts something, it sends it as an email!)

Too Cute 2

As if right on cue from my post yesterday, my friend texted me saying these 2 utterly adorable kittens need a new home, if I wanted one. And of course I absolutely do. But I'm not sure getting a tiny kitten is the best idea. Or even getting a cat in general. Too much to think about, but how cute are they:

On a completely unrelated topic, the boyfriend left this morning to go home for the weekend, leaving me all alone. Guess I can't complain too much seeing as I left him last weekend. Luckily, I have a pretty full weekend to keep me busy.

Family Blog

So my sister and I decided to start a family blog, to help keep us all updated on what is going on - since we live all over the US now. Let's hope the rest of the family uses it!

Too Cute

Since my roommate moved out last month, taking her 2 cats ("the babies") with her, I am now devoid of cuteness in my life. Today while browsing the internet, I made the mistake of going to a local pet adoption website and now I want to get every single cat on there and give it lots of love and a good home. This little guy Julius was my favorite:

Blue

I mentioned yesterday that Jenna and I got pedicures over the weekend, and I decided to get a "fun" color - so I now have blue toenails!

On a different note, I always thought I had somewhat cute toes, but this picture (granted it's from my cell phone camera) makes them look weird and fat.

Trip to O-hi-O

I got back last night from a trip to my home state of Ohio. I went to visit my friend Jenna, and it was so nice seeing her. We went shopping, went to the Columbus Crew game (see pic), relaxed at the pool, and got pedicures. I can't wait for our trip together nice month to Chicago!
